What Is VinWonders Phu Quoc?
VinWonders is Vietnamβs largest theme park, located on Phu Quoc island, packed with themed zones like Fantasy World, The Sea Shell Palace, and Adventure World. Think of it as Disneyland meets aquatic wonderland with tropical heat, adrenaline rides, and giant turtles thrown in.
Start Your Day Right: Fantasy World Highlights
We began our day at the fairytale themed Fantasy World (ThαΊΏ giα»i Diα»u Kα»³):
Hobbit Huts Instagram worthy and the perfect warm up walk through to the Mini Train Ride
A scenic circuit that gave us the lay of the land Alice in Wonderland Maze Trippy, colourful fun Aladdinβs Market With themed shops and architecture straight out of Agrabah Soft Play Zone A cool-air break the kids loved Jet Cars & Pinocchio shop.
Tip: Arrive before 10:30 AM to hit these family zones while the crowds are light. (Though it never got busy)
Underwater Wonders: The Sea Shell Palace
Next stop: Cung Δiα»n HαΊ£i VΖ°Ζ‘ng (The Sea Shell Palace) a sprawling multi-level aquarium and mermaid theatre.
Giant turtle tanks you can walk under Peaceful jellyfish zones and colourful reef fish Mermaid exhibits leading into the 2 PM Mermaid Show
Watch: The Mermaid Show at VinWonders
This show blew us away. Live swimming mermaids, music, light effects itβs easily one of the best indoor theme park shows in Asia.
Lunch in European Streetmosphere
We broke for lunch in ΔαΊ‘i Lα» ChΓ’u Γu (European Streetmosphere) the Euro style food court area. Youβll find pizza, pasta, noodles, and shaded seating.
What we had:
Pasta, noodles and chicken and chips, Ice-cold drinks
Adrenaline Time: Coasters, Ferris Wheels & Viking Views
After lunch, we split up
I decided the best time to hit a high G coaster is after you have just eaten, so β¦ I braved the Wild Coaster in Adventure World (ThαΊΏ giα»i PhiΓͺu LΖ°u) vertical loops and full speed madness, it made me question life choices and everyone else on the ride was groaning holding the walls when we got off, that paints a picture of what it was like!.
Ali and the girls got seats for the Mermaid Show. Then we regrouped for the Ferris Wheel near Viking Village (Khu LΓ ng BΓ αΊ¨n) with panoramic views over the island.
Water Park Fun & Flying Carpets
Next, we hit the Water Park Zone slides, splash zones, wave pools, and loungers.
Kid-approved!
Shallow water playground Medium slides Giant splash bucket tower
Then we rounded off the rides with Aladdinβs Flying Carpet, a smooth, fun ride back in the Fantasy zone.
Dinner & The Night Show Spectacular
Dinner was easy pasta pizza (no judgment, itβs holiday carbs).
Then came the grand finale the castle light and water show.
Watch: VinWonders Castle Night Show below
Lasers. Water jets. Projections. Fire. All set to music. Itβs world class entertainment and well worth staying late for.
Pro tip: Grab seats around 7:15 PM. The show kicks off just after sunset.
