After a full on few days exploring and a bit of a letdown at Starfish Bay, we hit pause and it was just what we needed.
We’ve spent the last couple of days doing… not much at all. Beach walks, swimming pool sessions, and soaking up the sun. And it’s been magic. No plans, no rushing, just taking things slow.
Georgia who swore up and down she was never getting in a pool again thankfully didn’t stick to that promise. Bless her, the cut on her chin was pretty deep and needed four stitches, but after ten days you honestly wouldn’t even know it had happened. Vinmec Hospital were brilliant so calm, professional, and kind with her. Made a stressful situation feel easy, the total time in hospital was 30 minutes from consultation to stitches in!
You might say they were a few hours quicker than the NHS, I expected them to be gone several hours, not 30 mins Mind blowing!
Now she’s back in the water, splashing around with the biggest grin on her face. Dotty’s been loving it too she’s taken it upon herself to test every inch of the pool, one big splash at a time.
These have been the kind of days where not much happens and somehow, those are the ones you remember. Just time together, the sun on our backs, and the water doing its magic.
Tomorrow is a big day, cable cars 4 islands by boat and maybe some snorkelling if weather is good, so check back soon!
