Today was all about wandering, tasting, and soaking up the charm of Phuket Old Town. We popped in for a relaxed explore, meandering through colourful streets, peeking into quirky little shops, and letting the vibe of the old town pull us along.
Georgia and Ali went on a smoothie mission strawberry for G, and a banana vanilla combo for Ali that smelled as good as it sounded. The local stalls and cafes had that chilled but alive energy you only find in places like this.
After a bit more strolling (and window shopping we totally pretended wasnโt shopping), we stopped for lunch at a traditional Thai eating house. No frills, just proper flavours and a bit of spice!.
And then, pool time! We headed back for a splash and relax while Ali did a quick shop run (legend), and we soaked up the sunshine.
Oh and we spotted a massive golden dragon! It caught us by surprise, just chilling there near the old town in all its shiny glory. No idea if it was guarding treasure or just being fabulous, but it definitely made our day a bit more magical.
So we didnโt get up to a lot today, just eased in to Phuket, which after nearly 8 months of fast travel slowing the pace is honestly a refreshing break!
