We have been in Phuket nearly a week and now we have unpacked the chaos, and now kicked off our next 6 week adventure in our house in Phuket and wow this place might just be the most unexpected plot twist of our whole world trip so far.
š Our home base?
A chilled out house with a pool in the garden and a park right around the corner just what Dotty and Georgia love and enough space for Georgia to plot her next wild idea like a cardboard form in the spare bedroom.
Butā¦
Phuket isnāt just beaches and buckets of Pad Thai (though yes, weāre absolutely eating that too š).
Itās temples, markets, elephants (though ethnically we might skip this), night time lizards the size of baguettes (no joke), and a whole lotta surprises just waiting to be found.
Over the next week, we will be diving headfirst into some of the big, wild, āis this a real thing?ā adventures that Reddit canāt stop talking about:
š Climbing up to the Big Buddha (Georgia says sheāll race me)
š Finding an ethical elephant sanctuary that doesnāt feel like a zoo (but if we cannot then maybe we will wait for a reserve in Malaysia.
šļø Booking our first island hopping trip Phi Phi or Coral? The jury is out⦠either way I cannot wait!
š¦ Maybe even a waterpark with slides that look bigger than our last Airbnb, Georgia wouldnāt miss this for the world!
But hereās the thing we donāt actually have a set plan.
Weāre letting each day unfold. One iced coffee, sunburn, and toddler meltdown at a time.
šSo if you want to know:
Whether we survive a zipline with Ali yelling āgo faster!ā If we find the most epic hidden beach in Phuket Or if Georgia convinces us to adopt a coconut monkey from the night marketā¦
š Check back in a few days, Weāre just getting started and you better believe the next update will be full of laughter, lessons, and probably a lizard in someoneās shoe or 2 (yes they are in and out of the house all the time)
So while we take a few days to do nothing and finally breath, my question to you is, what would you do first!?
