Who knew a sleepy spot like Pa Khlok could be packed with this much wholesome family fun?
We kicked off our morning with something unexpected a rideable miniature train chugging through lush greenery and garden trails. The girls were buzzing with excitement (and let’s be honest, so were we). There’s something timeless about a little train winding through nature, and this one was beautifully kept, even sporting the number 888 a lucky number in this part of the world!

🌿 Tip for families: It’s shady enough for little legs and a perfect low-key adventure for younger kids. Bring hats it’s tropical.
🐰 Bunny Cuddles (With a Bit of Caution)
After our garden adventure, we met some tiny bunnies fluffy, curious little bundles of joy that the girls absolutely adored. There’s something very calming about stroking a bunny while the jungle hums in the background.
But in the spirit of honesty: we were a bit concerned about the size of the cages the rabbits were being kept in. It’s clear the animals are loved and it looked like they’re in the process of building a new, larger enclosure that looks far more suitable. Hopefully, once that’s finished, the bunnies will have more space to hop around and will be out of the cages 🙁
Goats hopped around your feet and annoyed everyone you could feed the fish and just have some childhood fun here!
✨ Hands on moments with animals can be magical for kids just something to keep an eye on if you’re an animal welfare conscious family like we are, we had researched before the visit and everyone pointed to it being perfect but I’d question that.

🌸 Lakeside Swings & Scenic Views
Just when we thought the morning had peaked, we wandered over to a gorgeous lily pad pond with wooden swings hanging from a thatched roof hut. Dotty couldn’t resist, and Georgia loved spotting fish and dragonflies in the water below.
📸 It’s Insta-gold, but more importantly peaceful. One of those rare moments where the kids are entertained and the adults get to breathe in that jungle air.
Final Thoughts: Is Pa Khlok Worth a Visit?
Absolutely especially with kids. It’s not a polished attraction (yet), but that’s part of its charm. There’s a raw, tranquil feel here that’s getting rarer in popular areas of Phuket.
With a bit more care and attention to the animals’ living spaces, it could become something truly special.
